The Graduate Assistant position is a two-year commitment beginning with the 2023-24 academic year and includes a tuition waiver of 6 graduate credit hours plus student fees per term (summer terms excluded), up to 24 total credit hours. The position does not include a stipend. Graduate assistants must maintain at least 6 hours of graduate-level credit per semester to be eligible.

Belmont University's Department of Athletics is currently accepting applications for a Graduate Assistant Coach position with its Track & Field/Cross Country program for the 2023-24 and 2024-25 academic years. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Cross Country/Track & Field and will assist with various coaching, recruiting, and administrative tasks.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and acceptance into Belmont University's Sport Administration graduate program or another approved graduate program. The ideal candidate will have competed at the NCAA Division I level, performing with distinction as the member of a competitive track & field or cross-country program. Experience with sprints/jumps/multi events and desire to be a coach is a plus. Additional requirements include strong communication, organizational, and supervisory skills; the ability to work well in a team environment; the capacity to model mature, responsible leadership. The candidate must be willing to work weekends and holidays and travel with the track and cross-country teams to competitions. Applicants must submit to a criminal background check, subject to review and approval by Belmont University.
